Mascara enhanced lashes and black lined eyes are what they see as pretty. I honestly don't know if I want that or not. The attention and the compliments are really nice but they only notice the 'pretty' markings on my 'already pretty' face. So if this face is 'already pretty', how come you never see me?
Everyone wants to look good, to be called pretty. I want to be called 'beautiful'. But I don't want to be called that just because I have coal lining my eyes and whatever sticky crap drawing attention to my lips. I want to be called beautiful when there is nothing on this face, nada y nada. Just me.
Sometimes, I honestly want to be beautiful as those girls in my school. One look and people are smitten. I want that attention. But a lot of times, I want to be as beautiful as the soil, nondescript and secretly good, subtly beautiful. I really don't know what kind of 'pretty' I am, if I am at all. Am I soil-pretty or Cassie-pretty (cute and quirky and bold yet shy and withdrawn)? Does it even matter? Sometimes I think it doesn't because what matters more is how beautiful and fleeting sunsets are, how short lived dandelions are, and how fragrant and gentle the summer night's breeze is when you breathe in deeply. Sometimes I think it matters because people want to see immediately what you're about, because I'm human and i like looking at myself, because I'm attention seeking, because I'm that selfish.
I think... I think what matters most is that satisfying feeling I'll get when I wipe this make-up away, look my reflection in the eye and smile that gap-toothed smile I use to smile up at the rain.

Hello tharr. I've finally created my first profile layout, so forgive the rather, rough appearance of it. Although, I admit I take some sort of pride in it ><"

Okay.
... okay, then.
So. The new "Hottest Ship" poll is now up.
Matchup #2 is a nightmare straight out of hell.
Dean/Castiel versus Spike/Xander.
I know my flist is Dean/Castiel heavy now, but I know I still got my Spander-gals out there.
I will be voting at 10 AM tomorrow, EST. Make your arguments as to who I should vote for.

Mmyeah. I take back all the trash-talking about Cleveland police.
The found my bag in a parking lot (the report doesn't know which one, which is my only complaint) with everything still inside of it. Absolutely everything. Our theory is that whoever took it didn't know what the hell they were looking at and dropped it.
Sp why is it good that I'm messy? Apparently, if someone is really determined, they can track me down. I had left a bunch of set lists and various flyers in the bag, and the police apparently googled our band name, which led to our MySpace, which led to Matt's phone number. (I thought his number had just been in the case somewhere, but they put actual effort into getting my stuff back to me, which is just AWESOME.)
Just... holy crap. HOLY CRAP.
... I got my window replaced yesterday. Had an adventure doing so because the repairman couldn't get the door open. But he made magic happen and he got it open.
Me = luckiest person on the planet?
